How it happened
2022 was the season that proved the loft wasn't a one-bird story. While El Jefe was taking the long course, Central Valley Queen was clocking Equal 1st in the Central Valley One Loft Race for a $10,000+ result.
Racing in California means heat, valley wind and courses that punish birds that can't handle a hard day. She handled it.
She's part of why I tell fanciers to look at a breeder's whole season rather than one headline win — consistency across different races is the thing that repeats.
The family behind the bird
Central Valley Queen carries the same European base as the rest of the loft's speed side — the Porsche 911 and Black Power genetics behind Black Pearl Porsche. Hens from this side of the family have been some of my most consistent One Loft Race performers.
